Membership Agreement and Waiver
As a
Member of the Algiers Irish Rebels and Friendship Club
(“AIR&FC”), I agree and understand fully to the
following: All
payments to AIR&FC are non-refundable
& non-transferable. I’m
to abide by the “No Tolerance” policy which prohibits
me from engaging in abusive, lewd, harassing, rude
and/or slanderous conduct toward any other member or
person during or in connection with any club activity
including the parade. Failure to abide by this policy
will result in my immediate membership termination. I
agree to abide by all rules, regulations and
ordinances of AIR&FC, State of Louisiana, City of
New Orleans, New Orleans Police, New Orleans Fire and
New Orleans Safety & Permits. Failure to abide by
these rules and regulations will result in my
immediate ejection from the parade and my immediate
membership termination. I am
advised as in any activity all safety precautions are
planned and put in full force. I understand fully
there can be no guarantee that my participation in the
parade or any club activity is entirely risk-free.
Therefore, I agree to assume the risk of any injury
that may occur to me. I agree and hereby release
AIR&FC and its representatives, officers, members
and volunteers from any liability for the injury or
harm to myself, and any and all damages or losses
sustained by me that may occur as a result of my
participation in its St. Patrick’s Parade and all
activities. I acknowledge that I have had the
opportunity to ask any questions concerning safety
precautions to be taken within the parade and/or
activities. If an act of God or any other circumstance
beyond our control occurs, no refunds or credits on
dues will be given. I have read this document and
completely understand the terms and provisions. I
confirm I’m 21 years of age or older and have read the
following waiver. I agree to all terms, rule and
regulations that have been set by AIR&FC, State of
Louisiana, City of New Orleans, New Orleans Police,
New Orleans Fire and New Orleans Safety & Permits. By completing this online payment, I hereby agree to comply with the rules of membership of the Algiers Irish Rebels and Friendship Club. I fully recognize the authority of my float lieutenant and the officers of the club to enforce these rules. I understand that violation of these rules may result in my being removed from the float and/or expulsion from the club without any refund of dues and/or fees. I further understand that this is for renewal of membership. If I am not a current member in good standing and complete this form I risk the forfeiture of the fees associated with processing this payment.
